

Mercè V. Chimeno ( @Livingmurs) She is a senior technician specialized in Mural techniques at La Llotja, the schooll of Arts and Crafts of Barcelona, and later studied a few years of Fine Arts at the University of the same city, a training that he always combined with collaborations in independent publications, and other disciplines such as professional mannequins makeup, polymer clay crafts or commissioned portraits.
Painter, freelance illustrator and short story writer, exposes for the first time her work in 1999 at her home city, L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. After that and till 2015, she participates in several collective exhibitions in places as Barcelona, Milan, Belfast, Brasil... Including 4 solos and more than 10 arts and crafts fairs around Catalonia.
She opened the doors of her studio for the first time in 2009, when she founded Livingmurs Art Studio. There, she offers continously creative jewelry workshops, participating in acts and fairs like Creativa, handmade Festival, Abacus, in 2014 she's awarded with the second prize at the Creative Jewelry Contest with polymer clay by Staedler.
In 2015 publishes her very fisrt illustrated book "Las llaves de Julia", and the second edition in 2021 with the Art Book of the creative process. She illustrates, writes and paints, her stories have been selected as finalists for the literary contest El Laurel (Barcelona), becoming winner in the 2018 edition. She is the author of the image of the Maria Callas 2022 International Lyric Contest.
